π Your Right to Erasure
Under UK GDPR (Article 17), you have the right to ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you. This is sometimes called the "right to be forgotten". To exercise this right, complete the form below.
We will delete your data unless we are legally required to keep it (for example, financial records required by HMRC). We will respond to your request within one calendar month.
β οΈ When we may be unable to delete your data
We may decline or partially decline your request in the following circumstances:
- We are legally obliged to keep the data (e.g. financial/tax records for 6 years)
- The data is necessary for establishing, exercising, or defending a legal claim
- The data is needed to comply with a legal obligation
- The request is considered manifestly unfounded or excessive
If we refuse, we will explain why and inform you of your right to complain to the ICO.
π Before you submit β what you should know
We may need to verify your identity before processing the request. The 1-month response period starts from when we receive sufficient information to identify you.
If your request is complex or you have made multiple requests, we may take up to 3 months in total β but we will inform you within the first month if this is the case.
